To kick off 2019 on the MilLiberty Podcast, Caleb starts a two part mini-series on the perils of interventionism. In this edition, Caleb takes the time in the first half of the show to go over what a libertarian foreign policy actually is. He defines the difference between isolation, intervention, and anti-intervention, and how libertarianism fits on the chart. After that, he begins to go over the history of American foreign policy. Starting with the anti-interventionism of the Founders and leading up to the Jacksonian era of Manifest Destiney.

Next week, the show will go to the Teddy Roosevelt style of imperialism. We also will cover Wilson’s foreign policy fumbles with WWI and how it lead us to WWII, then the mistakes made pre-9/11.
